EIH Associated Hotels Limited (EAHL) is a part of one of India’s leading and globally best-known hospitality business group. Today, the group owns and manages 20 extraordinary hotels under the luxury Oberoi Hotels & Resorts brand and 10 five-star properties under the Trident Hotels brand.
Our services extend to flight catering, airport restaurants, travel and tours, car rentals, project management and corporate air charters. The company was established in 1983 as Pleasant Hotels Limited under the Companies Act, 1956. Its name was later changed in 1989 to Oberoi Associated Hotels Limited. Pursuant to further change the Company’s was named EIH Associated Hotels Limited, with a fresh certificate of incorporation issued on 1st November, 1996 and a Corporate Identification Number of L92490TN1983PLC009903.
The group of companies affiliated through the common ownership interests of EIH
Associated Hotels Limited, Chairman Mr. Prithviraj Singh Oberoi, his family and some of their
affiliates, is referred to as The Oberoi Group. The group also owns and manages Clarkes
Hotel, Shimla and Maidens Hotel, New Delhi.
It owns and/or operates a luxury motor vessel
in Kerala and two luxury River Nile cruisers in Egypt.

P.R.S. Oberoi was the Chairman of EIH Associated Limited, the Flagship Company of The Oberoi Group. He was also the Chairman of Oberoi Hotels Private Limited, the major shareholder of EIH Limited. Popularly known as “Biki”, P.R.S. Oberoi is the son of late Rai Bahadur M.S. Oberoi, the founder of The Oberoi Group. P.R.S. Oberoi was educated in India, the United Kingdom and in Switzerland.
